Individual Wheel Inspection

Although timely and costly, Uremet follows numerous quality assurance procedures for worn wheels received for reconditioning. We evaluate the worn wheels and discuss possible improvements or changes in the wheel with you.

Each wheel is serialized as a part of a tracking system through the manufacturing stages. The tracking system includes collection of raw material data and work in process data for each wheel. This process is key for assessing wheel performance and providing valuable data to further enhance the quality and safety of your wheels.

On Sight Technical Support

As one of the only companies in the United States specializing in the manufacturing of amusement ride wheels, Uremet is committed to providing on-sight technical support to you. Upon notification, we will make an appointment to visit a park that is experiencing difficulties with a wheel application. We believe that the uniqueness of each amusement ride requires this level of service to ensure safety for your rides.

Wheel Testing

Uremet has a unique wheel-testing machine designed solely for amusement wheels applications. By duplicating the speed, load, g-force and temperature profile of a ride our wheel tester provides valuable data to design superior wheels. Also, the ability to test products on a machine rather than a "live" ride provides another level of safety.
